NDIS Personal Support Worker – Personal Care

Sanyo Care is looking for a Support Worker.

Location: Box Hill VIC
Employment: Casual
Salary: $35 - $40 per hour
Criteria: NDIS worker screening

Personal Care Assistance: Provide direct support to participants with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.

Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of hoists, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids.

Health and Well-being Support: Administer prescribed medications as per participant care plans and within your scope of practice.

Monitor participants’ physical and emotional well-being, reporting concerns to appropriate team members.

Provide support with nutritional needs, including meal preparation and feeding as required.

Social and Community Participation: Assist participants in accessing the community, attending appointments, and engaging in social activities.

Encourage and facilitate participants’ independence and social connections.

Documentation and Communication: Adhere to NDIS practice standards, organizational policies, and participant-specific care plans.

Maintain a safe environment for participants, ensuring dignity and respect in all interactions.

Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
