IC Care are currently seeking someone who can float between our services to cover staff on leave or assist in our admin area to support all services. Someone who can easily adapt to change and has experience would be the perfect candidate.

Criteria
NDIS worker screening First aid certificate Certificate IV in Disability
Casual with view to permanent part-time position.
Commencing approx. 15 hours per week (3 days per week)
increasing up to 28 hours per week.
Wollondilly Support and Community Care Incorporated (WSACCI) t/as IC Care is a community based not for profit organisation that provides the following services: - Meals on Wheels, Social Support Individual, Social Support Groups (Picton & Camden) and NDIS Support work to the community of Wollondilly and Camden

WSACCI has the opportunity to employ a Programs Floater to provide support to all our programs including admin.

The role will include, but is not limited to, tasks such as:
·         Supporting Social Support Individual job intakes and allocations
·         Support Social Support Group assisting staff with running of inhouse and external activities.
·         Supporting our Meals on Wheels kitchen staff with the food preparation of meals.
·         Supporting our NDIS participants and Coordinator where possible.
·         Ensure the programs meet and maintains all Work Health and Safety requirements
·         Ensure the programs complies with the funding agreements
·         Flexibility in staff hours/days and may include weekends.
 
Key Selection Criteria:
·         Provide evidence of Certificate III in Aged or Disability 
·         Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Program incorporating the Wellness and Reablement approach.
·         Demonstrate experience in setting up and running activity programs for individuals and/or groups 
·         Demonstrate ability to build and maintain relationships both in the workplace and the community
·         Demonstrate and provide examples of good communication and written skills
·         Demonstrated experience with a cross selection of clients e.g. CALD, Aboriginal, Dementia, Mental Health, Frail Aged, Younger People with a Disability and their Carers
·         Provide evidence of a current NSW Drivers Licence and have access to a fully registered and insured vehicle
·         Provide evidence or willingness to obtain Light Rigid drivers licence to drive buses up to 21 seater.
·         Provide evidence of current First Aid Certificate
·         Provide evidence of COVID vaccinations including 1st Booster
·         Provide evidence of current Flu Vaccination
·         Willingness to Obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check
 
Desired Requirements:

·         Experience in cash handling and petty reconciliation
·         Experience in MYOB

This position is subject to a National Police Check

The pay structure for this role will be governed by the SCHADS award Level 2 and will include salary packaging and superannuation.
