Five Good Friends are looking for skilled and compassionate support workers for our member in Brunswick to assist in cleaning tasks on a fortnightly basis.

We’ll help you with everything you need to succeed in growing your own business so you can offer your chosen services to the Clients (we call them Members) you wish to support in your local area. You tell us your services, set your own rate, and tell us when you are available placing you in total control of your work.
About the Opportunity
Our member is looking for a new on-going helper to visit her Wednesday afternoons fortnightly for cleaning assistance.
Cleaning tasks include cleaning the kitchen, bathroom & toilet, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, change bed linen and take out the rubbish. She also may need assistance with laundry.
Our member is looking for someone with an eye for detail and is very thorough, not shy around cleaning and being proactive.
Our member is 82 years old, has Greek heritage and lives with her husband and daughter in Brunswick. She has poor mobility and needs help with cleaning. She is proud of and loves her home. Our member has a cheeky sense of humour and enjoys reading, is an excellent cook speciality with one of her specialties being the Greek dessert, galaktoboureko.
Please note that helpers are only required to clean areas that our member uses, such as her bedroom, her bathroom and the common areas like the kitchen and lounge room. Helpers are not to clean for any of the other members of the home.

- Domestic Assistance - e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry,
- Companionship - e.g., providing company through friendships, interests, and activities
We have plenty of other Members in the area needing help also! Our platform encourages you to build your business in line with your income needs, you are the boss.
What is needed to apply for this opportunity?
- Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (Or prepared to obtain one)
- A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5 years OR a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Or prepared to obtain one)
- Right to work documentation
- Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends app, Lookout.
Additional documentation may be required.
