Support Worked needed for Fitzroy North Area

At Five Good Friends, it’s our mission to create caring communities that support people to remain in their homes and engaged in their 

communities for as long as possible. We provide a platform Helpers 

(traditionally called Carers) love, is easy to join and acts as a gateway to a great network of Members and fellow Helpers to support this mission.

We’ll help you with everything you need to succeed in growing your own business so you can offer your chosen services to the Clients (we call them Members) you wish to support in your local area. You tell us your services, set your own rate, and tell us when you are available placing you in total control of your work.

Our Member at Fitzroy Nth needs a helper to attend Wkly 1.5hr visits on Sun, Mon & Tues for Showering: Full Assist, Domestic Assistance and Companionship (going for walks in the neighbourhood).
The visits need to be around noon-time.

Our member is 75 years old and lives with his wife, son and daughter-in-law in Fitzroy North. He is non-verbal.
He enjoys having music in the background. He enjoys crosswords, he watches Croatian TV and the music channel.

Helpers can up-skill with our free online module for Showering: Full Assist.

*We have other opportunities close by at Sth Melbourne, Fitzroy Nth,  Prahran, St Kilda Rd and Toorak.

Services will include:

·      Domestic Assistance - e.g., cleaning, laundry, etc.

·      Personal Care - e.g., showering, dressing.

·      Companionship - e.g., providing company through friendships, interests, and activities
 

Our platform encourages you to build your business in line with 

your income needs, you are the boss. 

 Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (Or prepared to obtain  one)

 A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5 years

OR a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Or prepared to obtain

one)

 Right to work documentation

 Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends app, Lookout.

Additional documentation may be required.

 Free access to our Learning and Development platform where 

Helpers can be up-skilled free of charge in certain clinical services.

 24/7 access to an Employee Assistance Program for free counselling and support. Helpers can book up to three sessions.

 Opportunity to build your own business via our Five Good Friends 

app and free promotion kits.

 Access to the Five Good Friends Help Centre; a fantastic platform 

that provides Helpers with a variety of articles and resources.
