Support Worker needed for McKinnon area, VIC

(traditionally called Carers) love, is easy to join and acts as a gateway to a great network of Members and fellow Helpers to support this mission.

We’ll help you with everything you need to succeed in growing your own business so you can offer your chosen services to the Clients (we call them Members) you wish to support in your local area. You tell us your services, set your own rate, and tell us when you are available placing you in total control of your work.

Our Member at McKinnon needs wkly Mon, Tues and Fri visits for Domestic Assistance, Companionship, Showering & Bathing: Partial Assistance, and Dose Administration Aids.

She would like 430-530pm, however the times are slightly flexible.

She was born in Camberwell - one of 8 kids (4 sisters & 3 brothers)
Worked at Mac Robinson's chocolate factory - in office & doing the wages for 16years.
She married when I was 21 & had 2 daughters.
She raised her family & when kids were at school, worked doing house cleaning.

She moved to McKinnon & I has been in her family home for over 70 years.
Her husband passed away over 20 years ago & has been living alone since this time

Services will include:

 Personal Care - e.g., showering, dressing.

Our platform encourages you to build your business in line with 

your income needs, you are the boss. 

 Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (Or prepared to obtain  one)

 A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5 years

OR a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Or prepared to obtain

one)

 Right to work documentation

 Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends app, Lookout.

Additional documentation may be required.

 Free access to our Learning and Development platform where 

Helpers can be up-skilled free of charge in certain clinical services.

 24/7 access to an Employee Assistance Program for free counselling and support. Helpers can book up to three sessions.

 Opportunity to build your own business via our Five Good Friends 

app and free promotion kits.

 Access to the Five Good Friends Help Centre; a fantastic platform 

that provides Helpers with a variety of articles and resources.
