We’ll help you with everything you need to succeed in growing your own business so you can offer your chosen services to the Clients (we call them Members) you wish to support in your local area. You tell us your services, set your own rate, and tell us when you are available placing you in total control of your work.
About the Opportunity,
Our Member at Springvale Sth needs a Cantonese or Khmer speaking helper to attend Monday & Thursday 2hr visits for Showering: Full Assist, Manual Handling & Domestic Assistance.
Our member was born in Cambodia and she moved to Australia in 1995. Her first language is Khmer, she speaks a little bit of Chinese (teoschew) and cantonese and she doesn't speak English.
She lives with her daughter and her adult grandson.
She has 9 children and 3 live in Melbourne. Her daughter and grandson are her main support.
She likes to watch Cambodian News, listening to stories and play on her iPad.
She also likes to go for a drive and likes to talk to people and socialise and calling her family in Cambodia.
Her vision impacts her being able to do things.
Remaining safely at home with her family is what matters most to her.

Personal Care - e.g., showering, dressing, manual handling.
Domestic Assistance - e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc.

What is needed to apply for this opportunity?
Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (Or prepared to obtain one)
A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5 years
OR a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Or prepared to obtain
one)
Right to work documentation
Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends app, Lookout.
Additional documentation may be required.
